Nurses House Dolphin Award

The Dolphin Award

The Nurses House Dolphin Award was initiated in 2007. Its purpose is to recognize and honor individuals and groups that have made a sustained contribution to Nurses House through financial support, service, or advocacy. The awardee can be a group, nurse or non-nurse who has made a significant impact on the mission of Nurses House or the population to which it is dedicated.

The 2009 Dolphin Award went to Maimonides Medical Center and Nurse Staff. It was presented at the 2009 Dolphin Award Reception and Fundraiser at the Harbour Lights restaurant in NYC on November 5, 2009.

Corporate sponsors in 2009 included Johnson & Johnson, NYSNA, Cherokee Uniforms, and Sigma Theta Tau. Nurses House would like to thank all of our sponsors and everyone who supported this event and helped make it a success.
